Meet Nate Beers
Like you, I’ve seen the toll turnover takes on clients, staff, and organizations.
Early in my career, I was fortunate to have several incredible mentors who shaped the way I saw leadership. But soon after, I also worked under a series of terrible bosses—and the contrast was staggering.
The impact of leadership (good or bad) wasn’t just personal—it rippled into team morale, staff retention, and even business outcomes. That experience sparked a passion in me that’s lasted more than 15 years: helping supervisors grow leadership skills, one habit at a time.
As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I began applying behavioral science to solve staffing and leadership challenges in human services. The results were too encouraging to keep to myself. That’s why I created the Leadership Lab: to give supervisors the kind of support I wish every leader could have.
